KOSMOPET – SHIPPING POLICY

Thank you for shopping with Kosmopet. This Shipping Policy explains how and when your order will be delivered, the costs involved, and what to expect during the shipping process.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. SHIPPING LOCATIONS

We currently ship to:

  • All major cities and towns within South Africa

  • Outlying and remote areas (additional delivery time may apply)

At this time, we do not offer international shipping.


2. PROCESSING TIMES

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking details.

Important:
Processing times may be slightly longer during high-volume periods, sales, or holiday seasons.


3. DELIVERY TIMES

Estimated delivery times begin after your order has been shipped.

Delivery times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed, as delays may occur due to courier backlogs, weather conditions, high-volume periods, or factors outside our control.


4. SHIPPING RATES

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and chosen shipping method.:

  • Standard Shipping (All Areas): R150

  • Free Shipping: Available, if activated on your store.

Shipping rates may change without prior notice.


5. ORDER TRACKING

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email or SMS.
You can use this link to monitor your shipment in real time.

6. INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESSES

Please ensure your shipping address is correct when placing your order.
Kosmopet is not responsible for:

  • Failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses

  • Additional courier fees charged for redelivery or address changes

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer is responsible for any re-shipping fees.


7. SHIPPING DAMAGES OR LOSS

Once your order is handed over to the courier, risk of loss transfers to the customer.

If your package arrives damaged:

  1. Take clear photos of the packaging and damaged product

  2. Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

We will assist with the courier claim, but please note that replacements or refunds are subject to courier approval.


8. DELAYS & FORCE MAJEURE

Kosmopet is not liable for shipping delays caused by:

  • Courier delays

  • Strikes or labour disruptions

  • Extreme weather

  • Customs (if applicable)

  • Acts of God or unforeseen events

We will always try to help track and resolve delays where possible.
